What does the Bible say about Orphans and the Fatherless?

Psalm 10: 17-18

You, Lord, hear the desire of the troubled; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed.

Psalm 68: 5

A Father to the fatherless, is God in his holy dwelling. He sets the lonely in families

Psalm 82: 3-4

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; stand up for the rights of the troubled and the poor. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hands of bad people.”

Psalm 146: 9

He takes care of the orphan and the widow, but he frustrates bad people along their way.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless and see that they get justice.
